Hi,

I'm using "Shared Add-in Support Update for Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0
KB908002" as a pre-requesites to load some MS-Office plug-ins. I want to know
whether this plug-in has been already installed or not? So far i couldnt find
proper registry entry also.. Can some one tell me How to find whether "Shared
Add-in Support Update for Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 KB908002" has been
installed or not? Even if i uninstall it is not getting uninstalled properly.

Thanks

Somewhere in that fix is a MSI file called something like
lockbackregkey.msi, so that's the productcode to look for.
An issue people have with that fix is that the MSI install is per-user,
which has the annoying effect that an administrator cannot install it for
all users - it has to be applied every time for each user of the system.
